Founded in late 2006 by Roan De Wise, the Verona Family started out as a secret organisation with the connections he had made during his time with the Medici Corporation which made up the majority of the early members. They would go on to be one of the most respected families of their time and quickly became allied to many of the first families and one of the founding members of the original Council of Bosses in June 2007.
Activities
Weekly meetings took place every Friday night at “The Estate,” the nickname for Roan’s PoH. These meetings served as the central hub for announcements, promotions, planning, and family coordination.
After the main gathering, Roan routinely moved to an upper Parlor room to conduct private discussions. These sessions typically involved higher‑ranking members, including Capos and other senior officers, and were used for sensitive matters, strategic planning, or disciplinary reviews.
Roan operated disciplinaries like a court trial to give both sides a chance to debate their case, but ultimately Roan stood of the judge and final decisions on all matters.
Standard events would take place on Saturdays and occasionally Sundays, consisting of minigames or loose role-play events such as bank heists.
